Milan Costich

Prevail Los Angeles owner Milan Costich is a next level glow boy. Not only is this guy extremely handsome (like ridiculously so), he is also incredibly balanced, positive, dedicated, and passionate. Despite his calm & gentle disposition, Milan has always been a practitioner and enthusiast of combat sports. He began his journey as a dedicated student of Tae Kwon Do and Karate, and transitioned his focus to the art of boxing over 15 years ago. The pleasure and fulfillment Milan has experienced on his path to self-excellence through the arts has inspired him to share his enthusiasm with the community, and we're lucky that he has chosen LA.

Milan’s extensive knowledge of combat sports combined with over 5 years of coaching and personal training has allowed him to create a completely unique fitness-boxing program that is both fun and challenging.  Milan designed the Prevail program to empower his clients while improving their physical health in a safe, supportive environment. He's a huge part of the community at Prevail, encouraging his clients to be the best they can be and really gives them his all. Milan is definitely one of the hardest glowing guys we know.

HOW THEY GLOW QUESTIONNAIRE

NAME: Milan Costich

WHERE DID YOU GROW UP: Northern Virginia, just outside of Washington DC

WHEN YOU ARE EATING HEALTHY, WHAT IS A TYPICAL…

BREAKFAST: My days are very active, so I always start off my day with a big breakfast. First, a protein/super food smoothie. Then, about 30 minutes later, I’ll eat some scrambled eggs, avocados, berries and a Green Genie vegetable juice that consists of kale, spinach, ginger, apple, celery, parsley, romaine and lemon juice from Beverly Hills Juice.

LUNCH: I usually don’t have time to prepare lunch myself, so I’ll pick up something close to the gym. I like to do chicken kabobs and Greek salad.

DINNER: One of my favorite meals is sushi. Living in Los Angeles, I have so many great options. My dinner of choice is to grab a sashimi or traditional sushi dinner and drink a Big Ten vegetable juice.

SNACK: Homemade Acai Bowl with all the fixings: shaved coconut, goji berries, cacao nibs, strawberries, banana and granola.

DESCRIBE YOUR PERFECT DAY.  I’m blessed in the sense that I’ve gotten to live a lot of perfect days, especially recently. Opening Prevail Los Angeles has been my opportunity to contribute something positive to my local community. I work with people that challenge me and that I truly appreciate and enjoy being around. Our members are amazing, and I love that I get to support them in their pursuit of self-excellence. All of these elements make for a perfect day: connecting with people I care deeply about, contributing to the success of others, learning & growing, physical exercise and challenges. I try to spend a part of each day connecting with loved ones, even if it’s just a 10 minute call with my sister on the East Coast.

WHAT IS YOUR MOST VALUABLE BEAUTY TIP/SECRET?  I think when you’re truly happy, grateful and at peace with the life you live, it radiates.

WHAT MAKES YOU GLOW? I’m a lifelong practitioner of Martial Arts, and the ability it has given me to express myself is invaluable. I love so many forms of art: dance, film, writing, photography, and architecture, and I think the common thread is that they all serve as an outlet for expression and creative growth. Throughout everything I do, I like to maintain a focus on authenticity, learning, and humility.
